Dejan Stankovic's Has the strangest record in the history of football
But from all of them, Dejan Stankovic's almanac is apparently the strangest, he has now been in three World Cups with three altered countries.
He played in 1998 for Yugoslavia, in 2006 with Serbia & Montenegro and his year with Serbia. And he has never afflicted nationality.
This is due to the geopolitical changes in the Balkans, with added and added countries acceptable independent.
He has now torn the recod set by Robert Jarni and Robert Prosinecki, who played for Yugoslavia in 1990 and for Croatia in 1998.
Even admitting Stankovic has played for three countries, he has never had any luck in he World Cup, back Yugoslavia was alone by Netherlands afore the quarterfinals and Serbia & Montenegro never fabricated it out of the accumulation date in 2006.
After getting abreast about the record, Stankovic said: "I'm blessed with the record, but I'd rather win. It's OK to accept been in three World Cups, but I would accept admired to accept bigger results."
